It's been a great week at school. We started our week learning about Earth Day. We talked about ways that we can take care of the Earth. The students went around the campus and picked up trash. I bet you wish they would pick up toys as fast as they picked up the trash! I am proud of them for taking care of our school!

We had dirt cups with worms for a snack!

Every year the Kindergarten does a play that tells about what they have learned throughout the year. We were able to watch the dress rehearsal this week. Your kids will be in this play before you know it! 

We also watched the 3rd, 4th, & 5th grade perform Rock Around the 50's. The play was fantastic! I can't wait to see my students perform in these plays when they get older. Our school has a fantastic Fine Arts Program!

This week we made colorful Xylophones! 

Alayna and Jayce were so proud of the puzzle they put together. They wanted me to take their picture!

Happy Easter!

We had a fantastic week at school! We learned about the letter W. They can't believe we are almost at the end of the alphabet! Tuesday was a beautiful day for our egg hunt. We had a picnic outside and then hunted eggs on the football field. They had so much fun and looked awfully cute in their bunny ears!

On Thursday, we had a special treat in chapel. JD Buckner, the minister from my church, acted out the story of David and Goliath. He did a great job and made the kids laugh!

We were able to spend time with Book Buddies this week. Mrs. Jones read, "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie." After the book, we enjoyed a cookie snack with our friends.

We had a busy week at school with Spring pictures and the Boosterthon Fun Run! I'm looking forward to getting back to our normal routine this week. We were able to squeeze in time to learn about the letter U. We also started our new color, shape, number, and Bible story. I hope you were able to check out your child's amazing art at the art show last Thursday. These pieces will be on display for a few more weeks. We are also getting ready for Easter. Make sure you check out the cute bunnies that we painted. They are hanging in the hall by the steps. I will be sending information soon about our Easter Egg Hunt. I hope you enjoy these pictures from this week!

Everyone looked so nice on Spring Picture Day! I can't wait to see the proofs. I know they will be beautiful!
