We had a great week at school! We are working hard on our daily activities and adding new things each week. I have seen so much growth from the beginning of the year. I hope you enjoy these pictures from this week.

We had fun finding the letter N with the dot markers!

Center time with partners. Jayce and Ka'iulani were matching opposites.

The rainbow pebble pattern cards are always a favorite! Maliyah made a dog!

The Tooth Fairy came for a visit today. She sang fun songs and taught us all how to take care of our teeth. She sent everyone home with a water bottle, toothbrush, and floss.

A rainbow of friends
is a dream we can share
 where everyone's treated
with kindness and care.

This week we played a Pete the Cat matching game. A lot of them said they play matching games at home too. This was really fun! They had to really practice waiting their turn since 8 people were playing together.

We had a visit from the zoo this week. We read a book about turtles before they came. The students did a great job drawing step-by-step turtles. They look fantastic!

On Friday, we had a visit from the zoo. They brought a gopher turtle and a skunk. We had to be really quiet so the animals would not get scared. The class did a wonderful job and asked many great questions!

This week we learned all about the letter M

Last week we read The Rainbow Fish. Check out the colorful fish we painted out in the hallway.

This month, we have been learning about Noah's Ark. We told the story using a felt board and each student got to participate. They always think this is so much fun!

On Friday, we watched a video about Martin Luther King Jr. We talked about how we are different in many ways, but we are all the same because we want to be treated nicely and we all need love. They came up with some great ideas on how we can be nice to others and change the world.

I hope you enjoyed pictures from our week!

It's been a busy week in PS3. Here are some pictures of what we have
been up to.

Benjamin is teaching the class how to say "L" in sign language.

We colored, cut, and glued - L is for Lamp!

L is for Lollipop

We painted the sheep white.

"Look, I made a snowman!"

Claire is counting the dots on the ladybug.

We celebrated Nolan's birthday with yummy donuts!

Tracing the letter L.

This week we read, "The Rainbow Fish."
We talked about ways we can be kind, and be a good friend to others. Look for our fish hanging in the hall next week.

Our Book Buddies helped us paint a snowman. We read a really funny book together called, "Sneezy the Snowman."
