Happy Friday! We had a very busy week! We learned all about the letter "A." We colored Apple Annie, made an alligator, and practiced tracing the letter "A."

We painted a hen for the color red.

This week in centers we worked on puzzles!

Calendar time is a one of their favorite things to do each day. Everyone gets a turn to help!

Check out the pictures from Art Class. They made a rainbow fruit salad!

 Mrs. McGee read a book about a dog with different colored spots.

We played fun games on our tablets this week!

Reminders

Fundraiser packets were due Friday. Please make sure you return those to school or you will be charged for the missing items.

Please make sure you take any papers that are sent home out of your child's binder each night. Also, make sure you sign the binder every night.

It's been a great first week of school! We have worked hard learning all of our new procedures. 

The first day of school was spent making new friends, coloring, and taking pictures!

 The first few days we read The Kissing Hand. We had fun making "Chester the Raccoon" puppets.

We spent time playing in the gym and on the playground with Ms. Martin's class. 

We also read several "Pete the Cat" books this week. We read the book, Pete the Cat Rocking in My School Shoes. We painted paper bags blue and made puppets. You will see these hanging in the hall in front of our classroom. 

After reading Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons, we made a fun snack with graham crackers, icing, and M&Ms!

Center Time

Today was Fun Friday! We did relay races in the gym and kicked off our fundraiser!

Alayna was chosen to play 'Human Tic-Tac-Toe"

REMINDERS:

• Fundraiser packets were sent out this week! If you do not wish to participate, please just return the envelope with the coupon books inside.
• Blankets will be sent home today, please bring those back on Monday.
• Even if your child buys a lunch, please still be sure to pack them a snack.
• Sign your child's daily binder each night :)
• Be sure to sign your child in and out, outside our classroom door each day. (If your child participates in extended care, they will direct you where to sign them out.)
